North Heath Dental Practice

6.3

North Heath Dental Practice in Erith offers a professional approach to dental care, particularly specializing in Invisalign treatments. Known for a calm and reassuring environment, their team prioritizes clear communication and patient comfort. While some experiences highlight exceptional service—such as thorough x-rays and attentive support—the practice has faced occasional inconsistencies in appointment management and transparency.

Potential patients should note mixed feedback regarding billing practices and coordination, particularly for NHS-related treatments. The reception and support staff are frequently praised for their friendliness, though efficiency in scheduling and follow-ups has varied. Those seeking a structured, patient-focused clinic may find value here, but due diligence in reviewing recent experiences is advisable.

North Heath Dental Practice was superb throughout my visit. The reception was friendly, the dentist explained everything clearly, and the whole appointment felt calm and professional. I went in anxious and left properly reassured. A first-rate dental clinic I’d happily recommend.

I have a broken tooth at the front. Was told I would need to have dental hygienist appointments before working on the broken tooth. When I questioned what he had just said. He said that wasn't what he said. And refused to work with me. I'm still confused to be fair. But better to not work with someone who is dishonest. I have been with this dentist for 20+ years he also used the word incompetent I wonder if he hears this a lot. I don't agree. He took 4 x-rays and did them very well. I wouldn't use such a disrespectful word he hadn't been incompetent at all. Just wanted to get money money money. I have now booked with a new dentist and look forward to working with them on the treatment I need. I can't recommend this dentist. The young assistant and receptionist were nice kind people.

I wish I read the reviews before registering. Especially, the more recent reviews. So far, as a new patient in the past year my experience has not been good. I am entitled to NHS dental costs, but found that the dentist wants to charge me private health care prices and advised that bridge treatments are no longer on the NHS when is currently is. I also had a 1 year maternity exemption. This dentist, forgot to do my referral, until I contacted to find out what the delay was, after months of waiting. Then, the 1st practitioner who was treating me and devised the treatment plan, is no longer with the practice. So, they wanted to do the whole consultation again from scratch. Eating up months on my exemption time with minimal treatment completed. Now that the exemption is running out, he wants to charge me for the bridges at private health care rates. I had a filling completed, with no after care advice provided. He would not temporarily fill a broken tooth. Advised me to keep filling it myself with chemist brought tooth filling. Thankfully, a dentist elsewhere temporarily filled it. If you are a nervous patient and even have to gear yourself to go...... At this stage, I would not recommend this dentist. I have a couple more treatments to be completed. Let's see how it goes before I start considering a new dentist.

Customer service is so shocking. I had missed a couple appointments 1 being the receptionists fault for writing the wrong day on my card, the second was completely my fault (hold my hands up to that one) then the third was that where the receptionist once again told me Friday, I then checked my messages and see it was today, so again receptionist telling me one day it’s another.. so I call to speak to them and met with another receptionist telling me "why would I believe your story.." you’ll have to take it up with management, I can’t just believe your story, etc.. telling me I should’ve kept the card from 3 months ago to show the management. It was just the fact that they can never take responsibility for their mistake but I’m the one that can no longer be seen.. I’ll definitely be being somewhere else now.

Been trying to call for days, finally get through for an emergency appointment for my elderly mum who has dementia, everything arranged for someone to take mum to the appointment, they then leave a voicemail on my mums phone saying they have changed the appointment from 5.45 to 2.30. No asking if it was ok, been trying to get back to them, have called 20 times and no one answering. I’m now scrambling around trying to get cover for someone to look after my dad who’s housebound, while I take her to the appointment. Why is it when your an NHS patient you get treated like this. WHY DO YOU NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONES?

This place is an absolute joke. Everytime I've been ( with an appointment) ive been left waiting for over an hour each time! On top of that they are just after your money. Im entitled to free NHS treatment and everytime they tell me they wont look or see me unless I pay ( always different amounts as if its just made up! ) when before they was seeing me and having check ups without having to pay to been seen. I called all week due to being in a lot of pain and a filling falling out and was due a check up so I called and they told me they can't see me unless I pay £50 just to me looked at and then pay for more for treatment unless I wait for another 3 weeks? .. but the next day my daughter was due her routine check up so I called them and then booked her in straight away the next day .. so clearly they could see me they just wanted to take my money. And when I did take her in once again we was left waiting nearly 2 hours to be seen even though we had an appointment. This place is just after your money and will trick you in every way possible to take from you! Do not go here . I have no changed my dentist!
