Blue Door Dental Practice

Today I saw George, the dentist, and Hassan, the hygienist, for my check-up and hygiene appointment, and I have to say I was so impressed with how caring and reassuring they both were. George was incredibly informative and took the time to explain why I needed certain dental work by showing me my X-rays. I've never had a dentist talk me through them before, and it made such a difference. Knowing exactly why treatment is needed makes the whole experience so much less daunting. Hassan was just as reassuring during my hygiene appointment. He explained every step of the process as he went along, which really helped me feel relaxed and at ease. From check-in to check-out, the whole team was fantastic. A special mention to nurses Ash and Chloe, who checked in on me throughout my appointments and made me feel so well looked after. What a lovely, caring team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I wanted to get the dentist to make an impression so that I could get the lab in buccleugh st to repair my denture. The dentist was adamant that she would not do an impression and wanted me to have a digital impression and a new denture at a cost of £800. I was happy to pay for the impression but she would not do it and insisted on doing it her way saying that Buccleugh st staff were not the best. I will now get another dentist to carry out what I wanted and I will get the lab in buccleugh st to do what is necessary. I have cancelled my monthly subscription to Blue Door.

Me and my family recently saw Hassan the hygienist at Blue Door Dental and we were really impressed with how thorough and attentive he was. He took his time to explain everything clearly and made us all feel comfortable throughout the appointment. It is not always easy to find someone who is both professional and reassuring but Hassan managed both effortlessly. We left feeling well looked after and confident in our dental care and we are very happy to return.

Like many practices in Dumfries, Blue Door has clearly faced staffing shortages, which is completely understandable and not a reflection on the staff themselves. The whole experience was great from start to finish, he made me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and was really thorough without it being uncomfortable. It genuinely feels like I’m finally getting my gum health back on track, which is such a relief. I’d definitely recommend booking in with Hassan if you’ve been putting it off, he makes the whole process easy and stress free.

Hygienist apportionment today was a pleasure! Hassan and Ashleigh made me feel very relaxed, although I’m usually nervous at dental visits. Their chat about doughnuts helped relieve any tension I felt and I was made to feel valued and respected during the appointment.

I saw Hassan for a hygiene appointment and honestly it was the best hygienist visit I’ve ever had. I didn’t even realise a clean could be completely pain-free, but he made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. Really professional and put me at ease from the start. I’ll definitely be booking in with him again!
