For the 2nd time I needed Simon Ellis expertise and the treatment is 1st class and excellent in every way. All the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. My treatment plan went like clockwork and the end product is truly amazing. Unfortunately I had to lose my lower bridge that Simon did 6 years ago and it was replaced with a partial denture using my bridge teeth on a titanium denture. This is amazing to wear, so comfortable I forget it’s in my mouth. And I look exactly the same as the teeth are the ones I had before. I cannot thank Simon enough for an excellent job. He is a true genius.

From the moment I stepped into, initially, an appointment with Octavian to assess one tooth, and then an appointment with Josh for a wider assessment, I have felt very much at ease. Josh Sapling gave me the time I needed to explain the problems, and through the whole treatment process I have been given the utmost care and encouragement. I was given a very clear plan and understanding of the costs involved for phase 1 of the treatment, (although I did have to ask the meaning of some of the terminology! ) and the cost was spread over each appointment over the five months. All the dental hygienists I have seen at this practice are also extremely helpful and encouraging. So thank you Octavian, and David (who saw me for an additional check up), the hygienists Jessica and Danielle, several dental nurses and especially Josh who carried out the necessary work with expertise. I am very pleased with the outcome of the treatment I have recieved and I would definitely recommend the South Coast Dental Specialists.

What a wonderful and caring place. I was very anxious and apprehensive of considering an implant procedure and having a surgical removal of a very difficult tooth. Fernandez and team made me completely at ease and I cannot thank them enough for every consideration made possible to ease my fears. If I ever need to have another implant I would not hesitate to recommend South Coast Dental Specialists, Fernandez and team. Firstly I thank my NHS dentist for refering me to Tawfiqur Rahman at South Coast Dentist to treat my gums which had been degrading and bleeding over the last few years. At first I was sceptical due to the 3 hour round trip to Dorchester and cost, but once I met Tawfiqur and his team I was very impressed and proceeded with the treatment. His advice and guidance as to how to improve my gums was clear and simple and the work he carried out was impeccable. 9 months later I have completed my final assesment and I am amazed and so pleased as to how my gums have improved. Tawfiqur was able to actually show me the improvement with photos and coloured graphics which I can retain and show my dentist. Thank you Tawfiqur for your professional, kind and effective care.

I was referred to South Coast by my regular dentist due to gum issues. Today, 10 months later I had my implant fitted after several extractions and a bone graft. I cannot recommend them enough. The whole team here are exceptional, but I must give out the biggest thank you to Mr Tawf Rahman for looking after me from the minute we met. All treatment was thoroughly explained and a step by step plan made. It’s also worth mentioning that from my initial assessment it was recommended I have a blood test to see if there was anything else that could be causing my gum issues…..and there were, vitamin D deficiency and T2D all diagnosed, but now all controlled. It shows that your health can have an impact on your oral health. I can’t thank Tawf enough for this advice. Thanks also must go to Lucy, Tawf’s dental assistant, she was always there with a soothing voice and comforting hand, thank you Lucy. Highly recommended

I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I have recently received from Josh Sharpling and his wonderful team of nurses.I am a very anxious patient but on every visit I was treated with understanding and support from everyone at the clinic. The procedure was fully explained, the work carried out most professionally and I am delighted with the result. Josh certainly went that extra mile to ensure I could eat my Christmas dinner without upset! I am extremely grateful to tham all for such superb care, Thank you so very much.

Brilliant service. I have a very complex Jaw, following surgery for a total TMJ replacement some years ago. I needed to have a crown done as my regularly dentist was not able to do this due to needing a certain specialist dentist with the correct expertise, and she referred me to Josh Sharpling. Josh Sharpling was outstanding ! from the planning right through to treatment and discharge. Everything was well planned out for each part of the procedure and explained step by step, both verbally and in writing, and he also copied in My Maxillofacial consultant. As I was complex everything took much longer due to needing adequate breaks and I needed more appointments than normal. Josh talked to me calmly throughout the treatment and he has a special way of reassuring his patients with his confidence. In my view he is the very best specialist in the south of England, I would not hesitate to use Josh again. The price of my treatment was expensive, but his time and skill and the best result I believe it was worth it . Thank you Josh Sharpling I can finally eat confidently again !. From Linda Thomson.
