King Street Dental Centre

Excellent service today from both reception staff, dentist and assistant. This is the second time I've been since the practice was taken over by new owners. Filling in the online portal before attending was a lot better, cut down time spent at reception answering questions and signing signature on ipads. I was called in on time. Dentist & assistant were very pleasant and thorough. Explained everything, even told me things about my teeth other dentists had never mentioned.

I have seen Dr Farooq three times now and am very impressed with not only the polite and respectful way he treats you but also his skill as a dental surgeon. He has had to do a couple of difficult extractions on me that could have been very traumatic. But no, he led me through the process with his caring manner and took them out causing me no unnecessary distress. I also have a clear dental plan going forward with my agreement. Excellent.

Had a quite complex procedure and I believe it was faultless. Dr. Farooq explained the procedure to me clearly beforehand and was very good at putting my mind at ease. Everyone from the receptionist up was super helpful. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Like I said earlier the whole experience was faultless. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience at the dentist today. The staff were really friendly Reza & Amy made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Everything was explained clearly and the appointment was quick and professional. Really appreciate the care and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable dentist.

King Street Dental Centre: Fantastic experience, every single time! King Street Dental Centre truly stands out for its consistent quality and warm, professional care. A huge part of that is thanks to Terry, who coordinates everything. She is exceptional—efficient, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make every visit smooth and stress-free. Having someone like her at the helm makes all the difference. I was also recently seen by one of their new dentists, and he was lovely—really gentle, thorough, and a great addition to an already excellent team. What a gentleman. It's clear they maintain high standards no matter who you see. The entire team is great, from the dentists to the hygienists and receptionists, creating a comfortable and trusting environment. Highly recommended !!

I had my hygienist appointment on 30th June with Reza. It was the most thorough treatment I have ever had. He was very gentle and so very pleasant. I can honestly say my teeth have never felt so clean. I would highly recommend his work. Thank you Reza

I have been going to this dentist for years happily, but recently it has gone down hill. It has changed owners recently I think, there were a few new faces and the dentist wasn't the usual one. All of the staff were friendly and nice as per usual, but the new receptionist (shabba I think her name was) was just strange. She was very unwelcoming and made me feel awkward to be honest, no people skills at all. The thought of coming back and having to talk to her again is making me want to move dentists. Definitely not someone you should have working front of house. Other than that, everything else was okay (apart from the longer than average wait time), it's a shame because this used to be the best dentist in Thorne until recently.
