Duffield Road Dental Care

It is exactly two years since I underwent specialist gum treatment at this practice on recommendation from my usual dentist. Having just visited the hygienist, and now being 2 years on, I can honestly say how transformative it has been. I do understand that gum disease can only be managed and not cured, but following Connor's detailed guidance and the treatment plan provided by him I can confirm that my improvement has been extraordinary and more importantly long lasting. After a significant improvement from day 1 that has been further improved and maintained. No teeth lost, no bleeding. I spend 20 minutes a day now on my teeth - every day and I just wish I had been given this advice much younger! Thanks Connor!

Highly recommended, I went today after not going to the dentist for a while due to anxiety around dentists , The staff were absolutely fantastic, first the receptionist was wonderful and very welcoming, The dentist him self was so supportive and sensitive and took the time to explain everything he was going to do very patient and professional Thank you

Another successful visit to the dentists. Great practice from the moment you arrive. Friendly reception staff great you by your first name. Good timekeeping - no long wait. Both dentists, Connor & Naomi have good communication skills explaining the procedure throughout. Not rushed and pain free after the initial anaesthetic. What more can you wish for . Nov 2025.

I have been using the practice for around 14 years. I now have 2 children and we all attend. I highly recommend. Connor is brilliant with children and they have no worries visiting the dentist. I had an infected tooth during lockdown and Naomi was amazing in looking after me, which was quite traumatic due to the pain and procedures I needed, as well as the staff covered in extra PPE it was very daunting. My family and I do not live in Derby but we would never consider changing to a closer dentist. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and I have never worried about visiting.

Having had a severe fear of dentists because of previous bad experiences I shopped around Derby and even spent money I could barely afford on three consultations. These consultations only added to my fears and did not give any confidence. This practice however were exceptional from arranging an appointment on the telephone, hearing my concerns and fears, informing me at every stage, giving me the choices relevant to cost and treatment. Generally, they were excellent! And that is after two pain- free extractions. A therapeutic experience!

I've been going to Duffield Road Dental for years and have never had anything but the best treatment from the team. Conor is very calming and puts you at ease...just what you want from your dentist! I've never felt that any of the work wasn't necessary, Conor is very good at explaining what he's going to do and why.

As ever fantastic work from the team …went in expecting to loose a tooth…came out pain free and tooth intact..absolutely recommend this practice
