Complete shambles and the most unprofessional dentist I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, I’ve had to see dentists in Sweden, London, Budapest, Albania, but none were as bad as this clinic. I went because an old crown fell. It was unbroken. But when they tried to put it in they put it backwards and asked if this was how it used to be. Then said that because it had been 3 days since it fell the teeth had moved and I needed a new crown. I paid £800+, went to fit the crown, was recommended a temporary fit to see how it feels and when it popped out (in 2 weeks or two months according to them) they’d glue it properly. It popped out the next day. Asked for an emergency appointment. Was told it could wait. Even if the reason I needed a new crown was because my "teeth moved in three days". The crown is so flat that the tooth next to it has an edge that ofc it’s gonna break. It’s tooth shaped while the new crown is a Minecraft block. The staff are very unprofessional. They keep speaking Romanian with each other. Which in a medical setting is very unsettling. And even before fixing my problem all they talked about was me straightening my teeth. Biggest mistake of my life choosing this joke of a present clinic. AVOID!

I honestly can’t recommend Opti Dental in Colchester enough. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel completely at ease. I’ve always been really nervous about going to the dentist, but Marwa and Tash completely changed that for me. Marwa, my dental therapist, was amazing throughout the whole process—so gentle, professional, and reassuring. She explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I genuinely felt like I was in the best hands. Tash, the dental nurse, was just as incredible—so warm, friendly, and attentive. She has such a calming presence and a gorgeous smile that definitely didn’t go unnoticed! She made the whole experience feel so much more relaxed and enjoyable. I’m over the moon with my composite bonding—the results are better than I ever imagined. I can’t stop smiling now! What used to be something I dreaded has completely changed, and I actually feel excited (never thought I’d say that!) to come back. I was a really nervous patient and hadn’t been to the dentist in about 6 years before my first visit in January, but the whole team has been amazing. From reception to the dental nurses, everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Michel (hygienist) is lovely and really put me at ease, and Dorina has been great—she explains everything step by step and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve had a check-up, X-rays, and a filling so far, and now I don’t panic about going to the dentist anymore, which I never thought I’d say! Would definitely recommend.

Very pleasant staff and facilities. They explained everything, were caring and polite. I have had problems with my fitting of dentures but they are being very thorough in ensuring they fit well and are comfortable. I cannot fault the team always a smile and professionalism.

I was very impressed with the service I received. I found all of the staff very pleasant efficient and caring. I had a real fear of going to a dentist. The staff could not have been more understanding and supportive. I will definitely be going back.
