Today I attended an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction and was feeling extremely anxious and shaky beforehand. Both the dentist Dr Murray and the dental nurse were exceptionally kind, calm, and reassuring throughout the appointment. They took their time, did not rush me in any way, and made every effort to ensure I felt comfortable and at ease. Their compassionate and patient approach had a significant positive impact on my experience and has truly restored my confidence in dental treatment. I am due to have another wisdom tooth extraction in July, and I now feel much more relaxed and reassured knowing the high standard of care I received and that nothing was too much trouble for them. I attended recently for a dental extraction procedure and had clearly stated on the forms beforehand, in bold, that I suffer with severe anxiety regarding dental and medical procedures. Unfortunately, I did not feel this was acknowledged during the appointment. When I tried to explain how anxious I was feeling, I was told that the clinician only went on what the dentist had written, which left me wondering what the purpose of completing the forms in detail was if this information was not going to be considered. I appreciate that the clinician may have been busy and that difficult decisions need to be made regarding treatment, however I left feeling quite unsupported and embarrassed at how distressed I felt. I also felt uncomfortable because the dental nurse avoided eye contact for most of the appointment and remained turned away from me, which increased my feeling of being unwelcome and anxious. I completely understand that the extraction may need referral for sedation, and I appreciate that decision may have been appropriate. However, I feel that a more compassionate and reassuring approach towards an obviously anxious patient would have made a significant difference to my experience.

so much pain over Christmas ending in A&E desperate for a dentist due to my abscess that infected through to my sinus. My regular dentist could not extract my tooth however referred me here. There are no words to say how impressed I am and so very grateful to Roger James that rushed me as soon as possible to his colleague Dr murray, that very day. I am a very nervous person when my teeth are involved, and having a large extraction especially very very worrying. My experience on Wednesday was utterly incredible. I did not feel a thing, and I felt Dr murray was such a perfectionist with making sure ALL the Infection was gone, I cannot tell you all how relieved I felt. I have booked my next appointment for Roger to discuss my future plans. My way forward is an implant and I trust this practice implicitly. Thank you all for making me feel safe and most of all pain free.

My lower wisdom tooth was extracted yesterday by Mr Murray. The whole process was very calm and relaxed and I felt confident in his abilities. Today I am relatively pain free, not what I was expecting at all, in fact I was dreading the whole thing. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Murray. Thank you.

Roger Scholes has done some exceptional work. I can now chew on both sides without discomfort for the first time since a teenager and can smile without self-consciousness. Today, I visited Market House Surgery for the first time, and My Murray for the second, the first when he practiced in Rustington. I would like to thank all the team for their friendliness and professionalism, and, in particular, Mr Murray. I needed a further extraction and was dismayed when my dentist advised he had moved, having had, for the first time in my life, a completely painless extraction some two years ago. She kindly said that if he was on their list for referrals, then she would refer me. Fortunately for me he was, and today was a further masterclass in his art with a second pain free treatment, Mr Murray, Sir, you are a true professional in every sense, and a guy at the very top of your game. I have had to have many visits to Market Place dentist, due to two of my teeth breaking. Roger has been a star and seen me over the Christmas period, he is kind, and very supportive, thank you Also they have a new lady dentist Umbreem, she is one of the nicest people I have met, she is kind, compassionate explains everything she is doing. I have found a fantastic dental practice one which I will stay with forever Thank you all, also the whole staff team are fantastic.
