Bupa Dental Care Carrickfergus

Excellent treatment and fairly priced. Reception staff polite and professional.

I had recently registered with Bupa Carrick and was back today for my first treatment - 2 fillings . Firstly I was pleased that I could get parked so close - really convenient ! Then as I arrived I was pleased to find a clean and bright reception area and a very pleasant and efficient receptionist who took my details and invited me to take a seat. The wait was a short one of just 2 or 3 minutes and then I was asked to make my way to the treatment room by an equally pleasant dental nurse. The dentist was very professional and began by recapping what work was planned for today and then outlining my options for anaesthetic . She then commenced with 2 fillings constantly checking I was comfortable with the treatment and putting me at ease. I was given the option of cleaning which I only accepted partially and this was no issue. With treatment complete the dentist checked again that I was happy with the feel of my mouth and I made my way back to reception where once again the pleasant receptionist set me up for my 6 month review appointment which she put in the diary for me. All in all a very pleasant experience - 10 out of 10 from me ! I can definitely recommend them !

Nice friendly establishment, welcoming receptionist and dentists who know what they are at. They provide the right service! Quite by the book, which is a good thing, don't show up if you're not registered (that really goes without saying!) And emergency appointments must be called in at 8am or you won't get one! Good wee spot for a bit of mouth work.

Always have a great experience at this dentist. My dentist Laura is lovely and always explains everything before she does it. Amie and Gemma at reception are really friendly. Wouldn't go anywhere else 🙂

I have been using Bupa for a number of years now. Previously the Glengormley practice. I then switched to the Carrickfergus practice a few years ago as it was more convenient for me with work. The customer service has always been 100%. The practice is run exceptionally well and the treatment received cannot be faulted either. I am currently with the dentist called Ciaran and he is excellent. I find it is always a pleasant experience which I am sure can be a stressful experience for many others. I would definitely recommend!

Family friendly atmosphere. Great service and understanding for kids

Not the friendliest of staff in reception, no smiles or warm welcome. As a new NHS patient, met my new dentist and seemed lovely however made a poor decision on my treatment, leading to a trip to the emergency dentist in the City Hospital who were shocked at what was done to me, causing a huge abscess and infection. Went back to this dentist the following day and nothing was resolved, they disagreed and my abscess became worse. Suffered for a month with this before having to pay privately in Belfast for an emergency tooth removal and follow up treatment (private dentist was shocked as well)
