Pampisford Dental Practice

Vanessa the Hygienist is absolutely lovely. So softly spoken and such a caring demeanour. She explained everything beautifully. The only problem I have is with being able to hear your lovely receptionist as she speaks so very quietly. She is lovely and welcomes everyone in a lovely way too.

I saw Vanessa, the hygienist. She was thorough but gentle and told me what she was doing throughout. She asked how I looked after my teeth and said I was doing a very good job. She gave me a few tips about flossing. She said I needed to be seen once a year. I was very happy with the treatment I had.

I have been a patient of this practice for 5 years, but recently required an urgent unscheduled appointment. I was seen the same day by Abi, not my usual dentist, who performed a number of diagnostic tests, explaining the steps as they progressed, and delivered a really clear and confident clinical summary, which has proven to be 100% accurate. Follow on work by Vanessa was thorough and effective, with some excellent advice for additional measures I can take myself. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism of this practice.

Have just registered with the Practice, from start to finish they were so lovely. I'm a very nervous patient, but they put me at ease straight away. Saw Abi and she was lovely, took her time explaining things and what treatment I will need at a later date. Will recommend to my friends if they are thinking of changing their dentist. I had an appointment today for a filling which was highly professional and thorough in all respects. Bav talked me through the dental procedure to be done and afterwards advised me on post-treatment care to minimise the risk of any complications. As always, the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. From a customer perspective it definitely merited a 5-star rating for excellent dental care. We are very fortunate having such a good dental practice in Sawston.

I have been into the practice a few times now and the care I have received has been second to none. Whether it’s an appointment with the hygienist or a chat with bhavin about my Invisalign it has been clear, friendly and enjoyable. Many thanks for the outstanding service 🙂

I have just had an appointment with Abi Tillai to repair a small filling that she had done a few years ago, which had now come away. Five years ago I had open heart surgery, which means that any procedures that could enable the slightest infection to enter the blood stream must be avoided, or protected by a substantial antibiotic, so as not to risk infection of the heart itself that would be dangerous. She agreed with me to do this repair without an anaesthetic injection, in order to avoid any risk to the bloodstream or the need to take a massive antibiotic. This was slightly scary, but Abi is so skilful that she completed the repair successfully in less than a quarter of an hour, and despite no anaesthetic I experienced only one fleeting moment of discomfort. She also charged me only half the advertised price of a composite filling as this was just a small repair to a filling that she herself had done before. I have been a patient of this practice for many years, and this latest experience is typical of the professional and sensitive care that I have always received. One couldn't ask for more!
