Histon Dental Surgery

Fristly, I want to say a special thank you to Dr. Roshni Butala. You are amazing! Some people make such a difference through their work that they don't just brighten your day, they truly improve your life. Thank you for your kindness and for being that person for us. I cannot thank this clinic and our dentist enough for the wonderful care they provided to my children. After a previous traumatic experience elsewhere, my children were terrified of going to the dentist. They were anxious and scared before our first visit here. Without even knowing about their past trauma, our new dentist's naturally kind and welcoming attitude completely changed their perspective. Recently, my son had to have a tooth extracted. The dentist was incredibly patient; she never rushed us, even when the procedure took some time. She spoke to my son gently, encouraged him throughout the process, and waited until he felt ready. It is so rare to find a professional who combines such skill with genuine patience and kindness. My children are no longer afraid, and as a mother, I feel so relieved to have found a dentist we can trust. If you are looking for a child-friendly, professional, and patient dentist, look no further!

The clinic constantly advertise that they take new NHS patients, but please be aware that this is fake. I sent an application two years ago and still they didn't reply. After s year of waiting I went there in person to enquire if there are possibly any mistake for such a long waiting and the girl at reception said - no, there is no mistake, this is how are NHS queues are, they are this long. Unfortunately we can't do anything to speed it up, you just had to wait. Then I learned in some online discussion from another older gentleman from Histon, that he was waiting for 8 years !! to get a place as NHS patient, and never heard back, and also he knows other residents who have been waiting for years. At the same time I have seen some random people saying online "I have been seen in two weeks as NHS patient" which absolutely contradicts to what Reception administrator is saying. Because if that is true, there is some heavy discrimination is happening there and it looks like some throughout investigation is needed here

I recently visited the practice and had to just give a shout out to the dentist Dr Dulay for his explanations and the way he described crowns to me with a PowerPoint I feel all my options were presented very well. Thank you to all the staff working very hard.

I saw the amazing hygienist Felicity and what a delight she is I have a fear of dentists and any sort of treatment but I felt so comforted and at ease so thank you I will definitely be coming back

I receive excellent care and service from Histon Dental Surgery. They have looked after my dental health for over 20 years so far.

We recently joined as NHS patients and Dr Butala is fantastic. We found her to be kind and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend.

The practice is very busy, charges high prices, and has long appointment times. The receptionist seemed brusque, urging me to book an appointment far in the future and unable to send an invoice; I had to call back to obtain it. In contrast, the dentist was much more helpful. He offered several valuable tips and outlined a reasonable treatment plan.
