Catshill Dental Practice (Bromsgrove Surgery)

Very busy out of town surgery. Staff seem very friendly and efficient. All the usual services available, with slight emphasis on those that pay. NHS is a necessary part of the custom base. Not the best access for disabled patients there is a 200mm step at the door. If you phone ahead of arrival the web site states that a ramp is available, but I suspect this means it will be moved into position by one of the reception staff. Once inside there are several narrow doors adjacent to each other.

Receptionist is terrible at her job! What ever you do do NOT complain about the half hour wait! I did and said it was a joke. A week later I had a text message asking me not to return. After calling the practice manager it turns out the receptionist and dentist gave the practice manager false information about me which didn't help the situation. Practice manager couldn't care less about the patients and the way they are treated.

Excellent surgery! An NHS Dentist is extremely difficult to find, let alone one with a friendly, welcoming and professional team. I recently visited the surgery with an on-going issue I had treated privately as an emergency, I was extremely nervous as I have had bad experiences elsewhere which has put me off going to the dentist, but I knew I needed to get this issue solved. I was instantly put at ease at this surgery. The Dentist was just wonderful, she tolerated my nervousness and treated me with respect, she explained my problem carefully and what treatment would follow. The dentist answered all my questions with thought and care and even shared her own experiences with me. It was a refreshing change to not feel like an inconvenience and just a number to tick off the list. Highly recommend this surgery. Well done team 🙂

Very nervous patient here. Was made to feel very calm. My first time having work done for over 15 years without sedation. The dentist was absolutely brilliant kept stopping to ask if I was ok and made me feel very reassured every step of the way. Even offered to turn the music up incase the noise of drill was too much. 10/10

WARNING Bumping off NHS patients to gain more profit do not use! Look at reviews previously posted the same has happened before. They send incorrect information via messages. Keep rescheduling your appointments and then have the audacity to tell you they can’t see you if you miss one after incorrect info and rescheduling. And you can see from previous post a very argumentative and rubbish dental surgery unreliable. Go private and stay clear if they make you pay. No loss my side I’ll spend my good earned money at a much better surgery providing a quality service.

Needs avoiding like the plague run from it leave them right now!! Worst dentist in Worcestershire Around 15 years ago I missed 2 appointments moved away from area now moved back to area tried to register as NHS patient sorry you can’t do that you missed 2 appointments 15 years ago WHAT Government want us to have our teeth checked regularly but we can’t get registered with a back street low grade dentist as I missed an appointment 15 years ago Bet if I was private patient they gave bite my hand off to register me Going to complain to whoever controls dentists I was on the register as a child and it was a good family dentists, dentist where white and from this country and knew what they were doing then, but now the new lot seem to be money grabbing kind only interested in private work but have to be seen taking NHS shame on this dental practice Sooner this place closes down the better I’m a vulnerable person with anxiety and mental health issues I don’t need to be treated like this. Sack them all

I have to say, I have always found Catshill Dental Practice to be a hostile and unwelcoming place. The reception staff are unfriendly, and sometimes downright rude; it's such a shame. I have also been stood at the desk waiting patiently to speak with one of the receptionists, only to be totally ignored. I would love to have given this a more positive review, but I'm afraid I don't feel I can justify it. Thank you for taking the time to listen, and I hope reception staff are supported by their management team so that they are able to develop their professional and personal skills for future patients.
