Bupa Dental Care Downend

Saw Claire the hygienist this morning. I dread going to the hygienist as it always hurts. This morning couldn't have been any different. Claire was welcoming, friendly, chatty and so gentle. This is the first time in my 50 odd years that I've not come away voting not to go again. She had loads of good advice as well. And my teeth look and feel better! Totally recommend.

An emergency appointment was required for a dislodged filling and I was very Impressed with the efficiency and speed the receptionist booked me in within 24hours . The Dentist that rectified my issue Pyae Aung and Dental Nurse were fantastic, very reassuring and extremely dedicated. I would like to thank Pyae for his attention and continued support whilst looking after me as his Patient.

I think these guys are great. I had work done overseas and I’ve had a lot of problems. I’ve pestered this dental practice everyday for like 8 months. They’ve been brilliant with me. And there root canal specialist "George" is also fantastic. One more course of treatment and I think I can start to finally move on with my life. I can’t rate these guys highly enough. Very patient and very polite. Thank you so much for helping me.

as always great treatment by the whole team - as someone with a phobia of dentists - dates back to my childhood, I can never say I enjoy visiting the dentist, but Monica makes it something I do not put off

Friendly dentists and staff, but very expensive. I was an NHS patient but because my dentist went private, I had to as well (unless I wanted to wait an indefinite amount of time for another NHS dentist). I had a 5 minute checkup yesterday and had to pay £70 (which cost £50 a little over a year ago) when on the NHS this checkup would be £27.40. I understand private appointments will be more expensive but an extra £42.60 for the exact same service seems a little ridiculous to me.

Had problem with my lower back tooth for over 2 weeks so visited Dentist at 12.30 today spoke to Charlene & she booked me an appointment for 1.40 . Revisited saw Monica she took X Ray then investigated and filling fell out so replaced new filling. No antibiotics required at present If irritation continues after 2weeks can go and get antibiotics Cost £27.40 Very impressed

Had a wisdom tooth removed by Monica. Monica is so caring and gentle I wouldn’t have anyone else she is the best. Also the aftercare was amazing and seen me the same day when I had an infection. Also her dental nurse is also very caring and kind.
