Hewett's Dental

Great first experience. I needed an emergency appointment and chose Hewett's due to them being close to home and being able to book an appointment online for the same day. I saw Dr Abbas who made me feel at ease straight away, he kept me informed throughout my appointment about everything that he was going to do and also the pricing. The receptionists were lovely and friendly too. I was anxious as I was in quite a bit of pain and wasn't sure what needed to be done, but I didn't need to be, it was generally just a really good experience and much better than I expected. I'll be going back to Hewett's now as my regular dentist.

Have been with this practice for quite a few years with no major issues. The only thing we find is a lack of communication from them. On 3 separate occasions the dentist has left and they have not informed us. We only find out when we attend the appointment or like the on this occasion after I’d made my next appointment the dentist was a different person so when queried they told us our usual dentist was leaving.

I've been a patient for two years and today has been my best experience. I really appreciated the dentist taking the time to regularly show and explain with a mirror the areas that required work. This made me feel more relaxed and informed about my treatment. Thank you.

I always receive excellent care at Hewett's Dental. From routine checkups through to recent extraction and root canal treatment, my dentist is always cheerful, happy and smiling. He makes sure I am happy with the recomended treatments and is always reassuring if I am worried about the work or have any questions. The lovely reception team always provide a cheery smile on arrival and help with appointments and treatment queries. My Smilecare membership has really been useful and helps me spread the cost of checkups and treatment. I've been a happy patient at the practice for over 30 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else!

I think hewetts are somehow having negative reviews deleted. I looked here recently and there were more negative reviews than positive, but theyve all disappeared... Anyway, my visit was terrible. The receptionist charged me an extra 50 pounds for xrays, which was very sneaky as they didnt tell me about it. The dentist wanted to cap a badly infected tooth, which is appalling really. That tooth was taken out today by a dentist I trust. I wouldn't trust hewetts to order the papers. If I had gone through with the treatment hewetts wanted to do i would have had massive problems down the line, as verified by a more honourable dentist. He couldn't believe what the hewetts dentist wanted to do. So thats it. No doubt il get the inevitable nonsense reply from the staff, but if I was you, id avoid this place like the plague.
