Harley House Dental Practice

I asked this practice whether it was accepting NHS patients. They said yes, as long as you pay for private treatment first. I raised this with the ICB (I think it's not allowed under NHS contracts and is a barrier to accessing NHS care) and the practice appears to have lied in it's response to the ICB to make the complaint go away. I don't know if they've changed policy on this. Even if they have, the lack of transparency and the dishonesty is a real concern.

I am going to Dr Ali for years he is,an excellent dentist but apparently he is doing private only Try to make an appointment for a,check up but I had to be on a six months of waiting list. Phoned up left a,message twice when Daisy the arrogant receptionist called me back and lecturing me,about when was,the last time I seen the dentist also would not let me talk. Talked all over me said the first two visits is private so not sure about NHS dentist she said things about X -ray I,don't need an X -ray only to check an clean my teeth. Not sure how somebody so awful like Daisy can be a receptionist!! Very disappointed as,I go there for years !!! Not sure about all those positive comments.

I have been coming to Harley house for many years now. There are always friendly faces on reception ready to greet you. The dental nurses are lovely too. My dentist dr Ali is really fantastic, he is highly knowledgeable and very thorough, a great sense of humour and he will not do any work unless he feels it’s necessary. My daughter had to have teeth taken out and she was worried as it was her first time. He was very patient and calm and he was very reassuring. I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to come to Harley house whether you have children or not to go there. Thank you to all the team, they work very hard 😁

I have been a patient at the Harley House dental practice for 10 years. This is a family orientated practice conveniently located in Borehamwood. The premise is very clean and well updated and all the staff are lovely and welcoming. Dr Ash Vora has been my dentist for this time. He has an excellent manner with patients and has the ability to put a nervous patient at ease. Dr Ash Vora also has fantastic clinical skills and expertise. He is able to expertly diagnose dental problems and treat effectively, he will only treat when there is a need but he will also provide a holistic solution if there is one. Recently Dr Ash referred me to his Endodontist colleague at the same practice and I had a seamless experience with a root canal treatment. I would highly recommend this dental practice and could not think of going elsewhere!

Excellent dental practice. I am a very nervous patient but Dr Ali made me feel at ease. He explained everything he was going to do and done a great job. I had a crown fitted which is a perfect fit and feels great, didn’t have to get used to it like other crowns I have had elsewhere - it felt just like the original tooth. Highly recommend Harley House.

I had dental treatment at Harley House Practice , Borehamwood. The dentist who treated me is Dr Nandini Shah. The treatment I required was not straight forward due to my complex medical background . However Dr Shah took her time and tailored treatment for me . I needed a denture as I had lost some teeth . I dreaded having a denture but after several appointments I was fitted with my denture two weeks ago . I had prepared myself for a few weeks of getting used to wearing my denture but today I called the practice to let Dr Shah know that from the moment she fitted the denture I have not looked back . I wear it comfortable each day , it is a perfect fit , I can eat normally and I have regained my confidence in smiling again and no longer talk with my hand covering my mouth . So a very big thank you to Dr Shah.

I have always found Harley House Dental Practice very helpful and friendly. I've just recently had a top denture replacement fitted. Excellent service provided by Dr shah. Very good experience overall. Many thanks to all the team.
