Dunluce Dental Practice

To say I have a fear of dentists would be an enormous understatement. I desperately needed dental work but fear kept me out of the dentists chair! Finally, having the good fortune to have found this dental practice and the wonderful Charles Quail, the work needed has now been completed, totally pain free and most importantly, they understood my fear was greater than any discomfort and at no time was I made to feel 'soft/cowardly/childish'. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, I just wish I had found them much sooner.

My mum has recently been seen twice by Charles and is thoroughly impressed. He put her at ease and in her words she never felt a thing during and after her treatment. She’s even looking forward to going again.

Awful dental practice. Reception team member with a Scottish accent has no idea what she’s doing and is absolutely god awful at using technology. While trying to book me in she said how terrible the service was herself and how unreliable the systems was which wasn’t the best start. Saw the dentist, dentist was ok and I can’t fault her service however once done with the dentist I went back downstairs and was then over charged, no explanation as to why it was so much when I questioned it, she said that’s just what it is, however it turned out I was charged double due to confusion, this issue still hasn’t been sorted out and I’ve just been totally fobbed off by the practice. Worst dental practice around.

Ive been at this surgery for years and always recieved excellent service lovely dentist and hygienist. Just met new dentist and hes really nice and friendly very happy. Highly recommend

My wife Sylvia and I have used this practice for many years, Mr Lord and his staff are very friendly and professional. Sylvia had a fear of dentists due an experience at another practice, we had to visit Mr Lord soon after registering with the practice as she was pain he extracted the tooth and since that day I'm not saying she enjoys going but doesn't have that fear. Highly recommend Dunluce Dental.

Only giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Removed from the list even though we attended every scheduled appointment, stating we no longer treat children or NHS. Leaving one child who had endured chemotherapy which damaged her teeth without a dentist. Whilst there, one of the dentists tried to remove my other childs molar by prising the gum away from the side of the tooth, then failed to extract and SENT HIM HOME with it loose, the gum away from the sides of the tooth and in horrendous pain, stating you will have to have him referred to the hospital to have it removed, which took weeks! Absolute shocking way to treat patients, even worse when theyre children!

I have a dental phobia which means I require sedation. The treatment form all the staff and the work itself was carried out professionally and I was looked after every step of the way . Cannot praise them highly enough
