Newtown Dental Practice and Opticians has a rating of 3.6 out of 5 based on over 112 reviews on Google
My experience at Newtown Dental Practice was unfortunately an extremely bad one. The female dentist I was seen by (Fariba Younes) was incredibly condescending and rude. She speaks down upon you and does not treat you well and kept mentioning how she does not treat NHS patients usually and is just helping out today (Not sure what that has to do with the patient?) Incredibly rude, incredibly nasty and arrogant she was. She said a root canal to save my tooth was not possible and that it would have to be taken out. When I mentioned I dont mind paying to get treatment done faster then all of a sudden my other fillings were bad and needed replacing, something my new dentist has said is not true as they are solid and no decay around them. I since joined a new practice (Edgbaston Dental Centre), they are very very nice, welcoming and caring. They have given me root canal treatment to save my tooth. Horrible dentists should seize practicing if they do not treat patients well and don't want to deal with patients! I've put 2 stars because at least the receptionist was nice! I will be raising this to the QCC and GDC.
I am very happy with everyone at this dental practice, receptionists, the dentists are first class. Am so happy with everything they did to help me with my teeth. I would have no trouble in recommending this practice to everyone, many many thanks Alan Dunn
Very timely and fast service I only waited twenty minutes after opening to be seen. I have anxiety so Nina helped me by letting me know when the dentist was free and didn’t seem to mind I kept popping out. My cavities which were five, were all filled within the week so a lot faster than other experiences and now I have a confident smile with no bad breath.
So far I've given the practise 5 star as I had a small disagreement with them over payment. They took another look at the records and within 20 minutes we'd come to a mutual agreement. Great service by the staff. Once my treatment is finished (teeth removal, fillings and dentures) I'll come back and give my review of that side but so far a good start.
Unfortunately, my experience with them was the worst experience I've had. I was with the worst dentist I've ever seen in this country.I am asking if they are doctors or building repairmen who repair doors or windows. After seven months of many appointments, he gave me the worst teeth.I have a question: Is there a law that holds them accountable and punishes them for their bad deeds? They made me teeth, very wide teeth, they told me. They used silicone to help me.I'm asking which country manufactures teeth in this vile and disgusting way, except perhaps in Nottown Dentists.
I visited Newtown Dental clinic on 9th September. I observed both receptionists (male and female) to be very helpful and respectful to all the service users, they were patient and advised of what they needed to do to access the service. I had filling ,clean and polish for my treatment. I am very nervous going to the dentist for treatment, the dentist was patient, friendly and informed me what was happening at each procedure. He asked if I was OK throughout. This is the first time I felt no pain. I would recommend this dental clinic to all.
The professionalism and care shown was without parallel in my opinion...starting at reception and especially with the dental surgeon.Never have I experienced such a welcoming and caring dental experience and I've had many.A very positive experience from every angle.
