Park Road North Dental Practice

One of the most disappointing experiences I have had with a dental practice. After waiting years for an NHS appointment, I missed my first appointment due to a genuine and avoidable miscommunication regarding the practice location and name. Despite immediately trying to resolve the issue and explaining the circumstances, I was told I would simply be placed back on the waiting list with no willingness to consider what had happened. What was most concerning was the attitude of the reception staff. While I was clearly distressed and upset, I was met with little empathy, poor communication, and an overall dismissive manner. At one point I was placed on mute during the conversation and then told there were "system issues", which did not feel genuine or professional. I fully understand that practices have policies in place, but there was no attempt whatsoever to handle the situation with fairness, understanding, or compassion. For a healthcare service, the complete lack of empathy shown was extremely upsetting. I would strongly encourage the practice to review both its communication processes and the way patients are spoken to during stressful situations.

Great dentist at times can be busy difficult for a appointment but when you seen dentists so polite and professional if need dentist call them ask you may get a place i so happy with them the staff are great will try for you if help required

They don't tell you that if you don't make an appointment within 2 years you get kicked out. They couldn't complete my last treatment and never made me another appointment, rang up today and they said I had juat missed to "cut off" and me and my kids were now not registered. Absolute joke after being registered there for years!

I highly recommend this dental practice. Dr Mason was excellent. All the staff were friendly. Great value for money.

I am so thankful to the team for seeing me as an emergency appointment today. My teeth were causing me so much pain after flu and sinusitis over the Christmas holidays. The receptionist was so kind and understanding when I phoned in floods of tears and the lady dentist who saw me was amazing too, she gave me so much reassurance and knowledge about why my teeth were hurting so much due to blocked sinus. The dentist was calm and didn’t rush the appointment. Thank you team for seeing me today in my time of need. Much love x

Absolutely fantastic dentists, my 3 boys had an appointment this week and the experience was brilliant from the start. The ladies in reception are welcoming and the dentist they saw was brilliant. My youngest son was a little nervous and she explained everything and allowed him to take things at his pace.

I should have written this a long time ago. Park Road Dental have helped and cared for me so much over the last few years. I had struggled to get my teeth under control and required a lot of work. No matter if emergency care or longer term work to improve my dentition over the years they have been there for me. Special shout out to Dr Mason who has done the vast bulk of the work. A shining light of NHS Dentistry despite the national strain on Dentistry services.
