Thankfully I've only ever had to visit for check ups rather than anything more serious, but the staff are always friendly and courteous. Also the wait times have always been short, if there's a wait at all.
I visited Ballysillan Dental Centre for a check-up after a two-year gap and was thoroughly impressed. As someone who gets anxious about dental visits, the entire team made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Receptionist Kelly greeted me with a warm, pleasant manner that immediately put me at ease. Dr. David Micklethwaite was both gentle and thorough, taking time to discuss treatment planning and addressing my concerns about not having had a cleaning in two years. Their patient approach completely calmed my nerves. Dental nurse Plaxedes deserves special mention for her professionalism and skilful assistance throughout the procedure, ensuring I was comfortable at all times. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who experience dental anxiety. The combination of professional care and genuine warmth makes all the difference.

Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction on Monday and Grainne McCloskey was absolutely amazing. Most people aren't fans of the dentist, well I'm even worse than most people and Grainne made me feel so relaxed and explained everything that was going to happen. She was so gentle and calm. The girls on reception are also very nice and always cheerful would highly recommend them

Very friendly staff and the dentist (Dr Butt) was really lovely, I'm a nervous patient and felt very calm, she put me at ease.
No one particularly enjoys going to the dentist but the wonderful team at Ballysillan really go out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I feel so well cared for and my previous fear of the dentist’s chair is long gone thanks to them 🫶
