Terrible customer experience and attitude towards their patients. I arrived 15min early for my appointment and was made to wait in the pouring rain, as it was apparently during their lunch break (which isn’t advertised anywhere online). Zero empathy, which is shocking considering you’re elderly and that this is now a private clinic and for the money you would expect private healthcare service. It feels like they know there’s no other alternatives close by and have stopped trying to put customers first. Dentists are professional and good quality, which is why this isn’t a 1-star review.

Lost a filling the day before Xmas eve. Was seen more promptly than I had imagined it would be longer after the new year but was seen in the first week of Jan. Not an NHS patient so had to pre pay for an appointment but am very pleased with the treatment I have received. Both the clinical and office staff are excellent. Further treatment recommended but accommodated my requirements for necessary rather than ideal work given my budget. I am very happy with this practice and very satisfied with the results.

Ok but since I moved to Wellsway Dental practice I have realised how much better the dental and hygienist services can be.

Yesterday myself and my children had appointments with Nyla and I have to say, it was the most thorough dental examination I think I’ve ever had at any dentist. Nyla is a credit to the surgery; she gave me lots of advice and I came away feeling far more knowledgeable about how to properly deep clean my teeth. She was great with my children and make their experience super positive! Would highly recommend her

I would like to say Thank you to Nyla and the receptionist staff at Combe Down dental practice. I came in for an emergency treatment and was in a lot of pain. I was seen the same day by Nyla who was very caring and professional. She explained all options to me clearly and patiently and gave me time to think about them. Based on Nyla's recommendation, I am pleased I have made the decision I did. The best dentist you will find. I actually look forward to my next appointment! Such kind members of staff who go beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe and listened to. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from all the practice staff today. I had not slept from amount of pain overnight. I contacted the surgery first thing and had an emergency appointment before 10am, the dentist was fantastic and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes and prescribed appropriate meds for immediate collection and a follow up appoint memt next week. I cannot fault the service especially as I am a NHS patient thank you all so much. A wonderful professional service from a sincerely caring practice

Over the years, I have been consistently impressed with the professionalism and unfailingly helpful and honest treatment that I have received from Sebastian; his memory for detail and delightfully warm relationship with his patients, whom he knows as people, is exemplary. His advice has been proven excellent time and again, and I really appreciate his care. His staff are invariably efficient, can-do and helpful; good natured and thoughtful, they really go the extra mile. Appointments are invariably flagged up through texts...so helpful. I was so impressed this afternoon by the immediate and good natured help that I received for a particular issue; nothing was too much trouble, and what might have been a problem became an opportunity for smiling service. I am so grateful for my excellent dentist's practice!
