My son is receiving treatment from Steffen, Komal and their team at The Orthodontic Specialist. He has been with them for just over a year and I cannot speak highly enough of everyone there. They have gone over and above to look after my son the entire time. Sebastien is 10 years old and has been through so much with his teeth the last few years. After several really disappointing experiences with local dentists regarding my daughter, finding Dr. Stephen at The Orthodontist Specialist in Amersham has been nothing short of life-changing. We were repeatedly told by multiple dentists that there was nothing that could be done for my daughter’s underbite until she was around 12 years old — and that it would likely require her jaw to be broken. As a parent, that was incredibly worrying and disheartening. From the moment we met Dr. Stephen, his knowledge, confidence, and genuine passion for what he does were so clear. He took the time to assess her properly and explained a completely different approach. He fitted an expander device, and within just 6 weeks, my daughter’s underbite was corrected. The results are honestly unbelievable — I still can’t quite believe the transformation in such a short space of time. We’re now continuing treatment with an aligner to perfect her smile, and I have complete trust in the process and in Dr. Stephen’s expertise. I cannot recommend him enough — truly exceptional care, and results beyond anything we were told was possible.

The nurses, particularly Ava, Ana, and Emma, were exceptional—always kind and dedicated to providing the best care. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Steffen in July 2020, after c.20 years of being told surgery was the only way to fix my malocclusion & large / deep open bite. The introduction was made by another Dr. who kindly (and very rightly!) rejected my request for veneers without fixing the bite first. I went to see Steffen without much hope (as I wouldn't consider surgery). He introduced me to Incognito Braces and we planned my treatment, to include elastics to close the bite. Today - 12 month later in August 2021, I am out of braces and with a perfect bite. I cannot say enough how much of an artist and talented individual he is. I am so grateful to him for not just my new smile but also my breathing, which improved hugely. Best decision I ever made. Thanks Steffen!

Steffen managed to achieve incredible results in just 10 months and 12 appointments! I have always been self-conscious about my teeth and regret not getting braces as a teenager. But it's never too late! Lingual braces are ideal if you want to go incognito. I really couldn't recommend him enough.

I did tongue tie release with Dr. Komal Suri. She is very kind and explained everything in depth and gave me serrapeptase tablets to prevent scar overgrowth or tongue tie reattachment. Clean results, not very painful, highly recommend!!
