Bidford Dental Practice - Bidford on Avon

It’s clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming—especially with my two young children (aged 3 and 6). However, I left feeling quite frustrated and disappointed. We were in the room for no more than 10 minutes in total, yet I was charged £110 for both children’s check-ups. As a parent, that just doesn’t feel reasonable for such a short visit. With NHS dentists being so hard to find at the moment, it feels like families don’t have much choice but to go private—but experiences like this make it feel quite unfair. I don’t mind paying for good care, but I do expect the cost to reflect the time and service provided.

I’ve been a patient for 40 years. The surgery is very clean & comfortable. Hygienist very efficient and on time. My dentist Tara is great! Always explains what she’s doing and is never in a rush if you need more information. Would highly recommend this practice.

My appointment with Liz the Hygienist was great, as always. She is very reassuring and always gives feedback on how I am doing with dental hygiene and highlights areas of concern and strategies to rectify any potential issues going forward. I feel I must mention however, the dreadful change to your booking system, it is impersonal, not easy to use and marks a distinct decline in my view of a practice I and and my family have been patients of for many years. Receptionists are the interface with patients, an AI answering system lacks any sort of effective communication. This is definitely not a change for the better and does not make booking an appointment easy or efficient.

I have a very real fear of Dentists! Tara is fabulous with treating me with respect and dignity whilst also doing all she can to help me relax. She explains things to me clearly so I can see why I might need work and explains the process step by step. Tara has given me good, practical advice on my oral hygiene so I can avoid seeing her apart from check ups.

They send an email offering discounts then claim it was sent incorrectly and failed to honour the difference. Tried to book a hygienist and they booked met four months away . Also not only are they charging above other dentists they are clearly making constant money every day to have such a wait for a simple 30 minute appointment. Going to try and register elsewhere

Chloe and Elizabeth are friendly and welcoming and know how to treat someone who is nervous of the dentists, needlephobic and suffers vertigo when laying back. Clean and tidy premises, parking can be a pain if you have to park in the main carpark by the traffic lights. Easy enough to book but wish I was seeing them as an NHS patient as can be expensive but this is the same everywhere.

A great dental practice. Friendly staff across all departments, from Reception, to our dentist, Nicholas to my hygienist, Liz. Highly recommended.
