Sadly this practice falls short of current guidelines. As a new patient I should have had X-rays on my first appointment. I found the Dentist rude and very abrupt. On my last check up he decided to replace half a filling with no notice or local anaesthetic, which was excruciating. I haven’t been able to eat on that side since. I have just spent 40 minutes at my new dentist having the work redone and the filling removed from deep in my gum which was causing pain and inflammation. If your nhs ask yourself why he has no waiting list.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEETH!!! After several years at this practice, it has become clear that my mother’s oral health has been neglected. Significant issues, including gum recession, were consistently ignored, and basic hygiene maintenance was never performed or recommended. It is a total failure of their duty of care to tell a patient their teeth are fine when they clearly require intervention. We are now forced to pay for private treatment elsewhere to address these overlooked problems. Its a shame but the nhs is absolutely useless now, and its very evidently clear these dentists are under funded as they would rather tell a patient their teeth are fine just to get of them when they clearly need the help and advice.

I had a very disappointing experience with Wilton Dental Practice. During my initial check-up in 2023, I found the dentist’s comments and "jokes" to be unprofessional and, at times, offensive. I chose to ignore it at the time, but the lack of basic respect was clear. Things became worse when I needed to reschedule a follow-up appointment. I called a week in advance to explain that I would be recovering from a surgery in the hospital and wouldn't be able to make the original date. The reception team was initially understanding and gave me a new date. However, they called me back 20 minutes later to say that, after speaking with the dentist, they had decided to count my advance notice as a "missed appointment" and were deregistering me from the practice entirely. It is incredibly poor practice to penalize a patient for communicating their medical circumstances ahead of time. I moved on at the time, but I feel others should know how this practice treats its patients. I would not recommend them if you value professional communication and fair treatment.

Outstanding experience Dr Mehdi has been looking after my teeth For approximately nearly 2 years . He is patient gives excellent advice and treatment. He always goes above and beyond at my appointments. He explains everything and never rushes you . I have had a dentist phobia for 48 years and he is the best dentist I have seen in my lifetime . He is outstanding in every way .

Rude, obnoxious, arrogant and always runs late. He raised his voice at me several times, and doesn't listen. Myself and both children are neurodivergent and my eldest now refuses to go. She has a speech and language disorder, so looks to me to help her talk to people. He won't let me talk for / with her. I asked him about getting my son's records for an occupational therapist referral. He just kept raising his voice with things like, "Why, what is wrong with him!?" Next to a full waiting room. There is zero privacy for patients to those in the waiting room. My son was on his own at the top of the very steep stairs at the end of the appointment. ..the dentist told me to, "Shut the door and come back in." I informed him that I needed to supervise my child! I also struggled to understand some of what he was saying, which really doesn't help. Truly awful experience today. I assume he's never been affected by mental health, learning disabilities or neurodivergence because his attitude is disgusting.

The dentist was aggressive and intimidating, with a very unfriendly approach. After examining the teeth, he did not explain the condition or share any details about the findings. Overall, the behavior was very rude and unprofessional, and it made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. The dentist was unapologetic and arrogant throughout the appointment. When we calmly pointed this out, he refused to accept it and instead arrogantly demanded that we apologize. This behavior occurred while he was attending to my son, which was extremely inappropriate and concerning. There was no empathy, professionalism, or effort to communicate respectfully. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

Having seen some earlier reviews it was with some trepidation that I went for my dental appointment but I have to say that there may have been some misunderstanding between the dentist and patients? I found Dr Medhi to be very expressive with his information about my teeth and indeed we were able to be somewhat jocular within the appointment, he has been very helpful and explanative on my requirements and we have arranged for him to fit a crown with two planned appointments. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and my wife who also had treatment was able to confirm this excellent service. As an addendum to my original post . I have to say I have been very impressed with the work this dentist has carried out for me, after many years of dentistry I am eighty years old next birthday both private and NHS dentists this gentleman has been without question the most pain free experience that I have had . I am very pleased with my new crown fitted. Thanks very much Mehdi.
