Kendrick View Dental Practice - Reading

We recently saw Dr Kiran Shankla for whitening and ICON treatment for my daughter. We did a lot of research and felt this was the best treatment, that is non-invasive, for when my daughter was old enough and asking for treatment herself. There appears to be very few dentists that offer this treatment, as well as being experienced in it. We couldn’t be happier to have found Dr Kiran Shankla who is an expert in this. We were reassured from our first visit that this was not only the right treatment, but the right practice and dentist. She couldn’t have been more warm, approachable and accommodating. She was informative at each appointment and was more than happy to answer our questions. Dr Shankla was also continuously kind, calm and reassuring towards my daughter. She was even allowed to listen to her own choice of music during the ICON treatment, which required her to stay nice and still. The results are excellent and the change is huge. It has already had a very positive impact on my daughter and will continue to as she gets older in terms of social impact and self confidence. It is also reassuring to know the ICON protects and strengthens the teeth. Logistically, we live 1.5 hours away and had no issues travelling both by car and train. Kendrick View is easy to find with a good sized car park, as well as being close to the train station. All completely worth it, thank you.

I saw Kiran for Invisalign and composite bonding. She was very professional and friendly, she goes above and beyond, if i had any concerns i would email her and would always hear back straight away, even on weekends and evenings. I am very happy with the results and my new smile

Kendrick View Dental Practice is located on London Road in Reading. I’ve been coming here for some years. The staff/team are: excellent. I’ve seen 3 different dentists, a root canal specialist and a hygienist. And of course the team on reception. Booking is a pleasure. You will be kept updated and phoned to find out where you are if you are late. Quite cool in a busy modern day. This is private dental work. It is expensive. Get dental insurance. Still costly. But my teeth were always bad (genetics and medication). I have spent a lot of money on my teeth. People comment on my teeth, very nice comments. It’s an investment. These guys are seriously good. You will have to choose which dentist/practitioner to book with. I know who I would recommend but unfair to do here on a public review and unfounded as I have not had them all work on my teeth. I had a lot of work done on my teeth by the NHS. Some very good work. Some not so good. I got that fixed here. Totally recommend Kendrick View. I hope you will too.

Dr Kiran Shankla is amazing. She treated my son after he knocked his front tooth and had to have a root canal. The tooth died and was grey. We did internal whitening followed by external whitening. So happy my son now has his pearly white smile back! Thank you Kiran and the team

After lots and lots and lots of research and some great communication (over email and on the phone) we took the plunge and travelled two and a half hours (twice) to see Kiran Shankla for Icon treatment for my 12-year-old daughter, and it was absolutely worth every mile. From the moment we arrived at the practice, Kiran was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle. She spoke to my daughter in such a reassuring way that it immediately put both of us at ease. Her professionalism and expertise are clear, but what really stood out was her warm and caring approach - nothing was too much trouble. My daughter felt comfortable and confident throughout her treatment, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received and the overall results of her teeth. Kiran, you are honestly MAGIC. The staff, from the reception team, to the dental nurses to Kiran herself are amazing! Yes it was expensive, but it was worth every penny... AND that long journey was more than worthwhile to ensure my daughter received the best possible treatment.

I have been a patient of Kendrick View Dental Practice since January 2016 and I’m still one today! This practice is professional yet warm and staff still remember you over the years. You are also kept up to date on staff changes and recent happenings at the practice with their newsletters, which were particularly useful in the pandemic. I am and will always be eternally grateful to my dentist, Dr McDonnell, for his excellent restorative dentistry work to a tooth I broke in a freak accident a few years ago. I visited most recently to see a dental hygienist to clean my teeth and I usually do this every 6 months. Afterwards, I saw Dr McDonnell to have an updated X-ray of my teeth. Having healthy teeth is always in fashion and for this reason, I would highly recommend the practice to anyone looking for a dentist in Reading for general or more complex dental procedures.
