Devon Place 7 Day Dental

I don’t usually send messages like this, but I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Kayleigh and her assistant during my filling earlier today. They both made me feel really comfortable and at ease the whole time, and Kayleigh was brilliant. It was a much better experience than I expected, and I really appreciated how friendly and professional they both were. Please pass on my thanks to them both.

I can highly recommend Devon Place Dental Practice. I have received excellent care and a fabulous result from my recent implant. I am very grateful to Dr Gordon and his team for the meticulous and caring treatment. I had complete confidence in the process as everything was clearly explained and appointments scheduled to my needs. Very few of us like to visit the dentist, but we have to for our oral health. This is where Dr Rachel Randall and her team couldn’t be more supportive, considerate and empathetic. The whole team at the practice go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, from reception to treatment room. They take time to get to know you, are interested in your story and family, and offer the best advice possible for your personal care. With my whole family being patients at the practice, we couldn’t imagine being at any other practice. If you want professional quality care and a dentist who wants to know you and look after you, then pop along. You won’t regret it!

I can highly recommend Dr Rachael Gill Randall and her Team. As one who has experienced very mixed levels of dental care as any adult, it has been a very enlightening experience to receive the total care and attention of such a great Team at Devon Place.

I have a cracked tooth in my front tooth it's very sharp and sensitive and untreated can tell will continue cracking as I have stress grinding issues, had an emergency nhs appointment waited ages for it in waiting room. When called it took the male dentist who I believe is Dentist Gordon and a dental nurse less than 5 minutes to put a filling in? thought this was weird as was told online itd take longer. It looked okay though but was lumpy feeling ive never had before so was unsure if its normal. Sent with no aftercare or anything just done bye felt unfriendly really.. and 2 days later now I heard the crack when i woke up this morning its just fallen off. Past 48 hours i havent chewed on it, brushed gently and taken all measurements so it sets i guess but one smile and its gone. I guess when you are nhs they just have no care for you, I'm now having to recall again for this hoping i won't be sent here because clearly the fillings are not made to last here for an nhs patient & dont want a rushed job again done to me. Disappointed. The receptionist was nice but the whole vibe was unwelcoming to someone on nhs like me, a big post on the wall saying no nhs patients after 1st April, its fine if you dont want to have an nhs practice but you still take nhs emergencies and this felt very unwelcoming.

I first went to Devon Place Dental in December with an abscess which was successfully dealt by Dr Dorrell Gordon. I was given various options regarding the infected tooth & decided on an extraction at a later date. I had the tooth extracted by Dr Gordon who fully explained the procedure beforehand. There was a very slight discomfort during the painkilling injections, then the tooth was removed without any pain whatsoever. Very pleased with the whole experience. Very positive experience throughout.

The dental practice has long opening hours which makes it easy to get a suitable appointment time. There is a comfortable, clean reception area with polite, friendly receptionists. The service provided by the dentists and hygienist have always been excellent, very friendly and professional.
