Pillory Street Dental - Nantwich

We take our son here, whom has complex needs. He has been with the practice for 26 years. Dr. Ingram and Bella are always warm and welcoming and have created a relaxed relationship with all of us, one of trust and knowing they are working in our son’s best interest. We appreciate their assistance, very much. Bella is just the most inclusive and humane person. As soon as you walk in you can feel her warmth. She is an exceptional individual.

The dentist I saw was cold and abrupt and gave me an estimate of over £800 for all the work I needed doing. I was very distressed and emailed the practice and waited 2 weeks (and sent 2 emails) for a response. The manager then phoned me and was lovely and smoothed things over, as well as providing me with her email address if I had any further questions or needed anything. I emailed her twice again for my X-Rays so that I could get a second opinion from another dentist. Someone else replied with my X-Rays, and having gone for my second opinion yesterday we realised that the practice sent me the same X-Ray twice. My new dentist has also said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth whatsoever and even laughed when I told him what I’d been told in my previous appointment a few months prior. Overall, coming to the practice has caused me a lot of distress and anxiety (having never been anxious about dentist visits before), and whilst the manager made the experience slightly better initially, I would not recommend this practice unless you want to be misdiagnosed by a cold and uncaring dentist, receive an £800 estimate, have to wait for weeks for responses despite the practice being aware of your anxieties, and then receive the wrong information to take to your new dentist.

Just had a fantastic experience at the Hygienist, the ladies were fantastic and patient. My teeth feels a million dollars now. They took the time to explain every step and gave fantastic advice. Just been on Amazon and ordered what I was advised to use. Thank you.

Only waited about 10 mins for appointment. I had a check up. Claudia was really lovely. Very friendly and welcoming . Enter thorough examination she explained that one filling was required; and the difference between having it done privately or on NHS. I was informed of both prices and no rush to make my decision. The two reasons for 4* is due to : The steep stairs! Hopefully when l can no longer manage them l can ask for an appointment downstairs; I find it very sad that there are different treatments for private and NHS. But l suppose that is how it is!!

I recently registered here as a new NHS patient. The service from all staff has been excellent; kind, caring and professional. Highly recommend.

First experience today and left happy. I'm a nervous patient but everything was explained to me clearly and I was given the option to stop if and when I needed. Advice given to help keep my mouth healthy and to fix any potential problems. Thank you 😊
