This practice just sent me a notification for an annual check up so I thought I'd relay my experience. I went there to have my wisdom teeth checked a year ago. They proceeded to tell me that most of my teeth had cavities and gave me a bill for just under £2,000 for fillings. I ask them whether it was unusual to go from no cavities to loads of cavities in less than a year. The dentist got very defensive and 'showed me' all the cavities I had. I booked an appointment with my usual dentist for a second view, who after an examination, and an x-ray and a confused conversation with the nurse told me that there were NO cavities. I ask him about what the dentist had showed me and he said that it was stained tartar which was removed in 5 minutes by a hygienist. Telling somekenethat their mouth is mostly cavities when they know it isn't and then handing them a bill they can't afford is insanely irresponsible and bordering on illegal.

Great service and professional team! I am very anxious and nervous about going to dentist. I had the procedure done and I now feel much better. They told me everything that they were doing and I also never felt a thing. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I've been extremely happy and content with all of my dentistry work from Maria and Birchfields Family Dental Care ('Birchfields'). This is since I first found them, nearly three years ago, when I needed a very good local dentist in my area. Maria and Birchfields are exceptional, and outstanding. Maria always makes me look a million dollars, and was responsible for having resurrected a certain area of my front smile, which I am comfortable and very happy with! The music in Maria's room is very good too!! Exceptional, immaculate dentistry work Maria has given, and continues to give to me, from Day One. I highly recommend Maria and Birchfields.

Maria is a fantastic dentist. She has a calming and warming chairside manner, i always feel at ease during appointments. Well scheduled appointments and waiting times. The staff were so friendly and the waiting room, and surgery are spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Birchfields Family Dental Care.

Girlfriend went here (university student) to check on wisdom pain she was having and was very nervous. She got told she had 7 cavities and that her wisdom teeth should be taken which left her distraught and the dentist wasn’t nice at all! This stressed my girlfriend out for months till she could get an appointment back home. Not to mention the £90 price tag for each. Got checked back home, no cavities, no need to remove wisdom teeth… Can’t begin to estimate what this private dentist was trying to charge her disgusting. STUDENTS STAY AWAY!!!!!
