I would not recommend Diana (i think is her name) as a dentist. Visiting a dentist can be a vulnerable experience, and I expect a dental professional to make patients feel comfortable, respected, and safe. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I found Diana to be rude, blunt, and judgmental throughout my appointment. Rather than showing empathy or understanding, her manner made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. A dentist isn’t just responsible for treating teeth—they are also responsible for creating an environment where patients feel at ease, especially when many people already feel anxious about dental visits. I left feeling worse than when I arrived. If you’re looking for a dentist who is compassionate, reassuring, and patient-focused, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Professional skill is important, but so is treating patients with kindness and respect, and I did not feel that standard was met during my visit.
I was very relieved to be seen at such short notice. The dentist listened to my concerns and advised the removal of a fragment of tooth which was carried out during the appointment. A follow up appointment was arranged to see if any further action was required. I feel there was a positive outcome to the issues I was having.
Amazing service from start to finish. I am a nervous patient and had to take a chance on a dentist. I'm so glad that it was this dental surgery I chose. Friendly and welcoming, kept me calm throughout both visits. Thank you for your amazing service.
I had my initial dental check up on Thursday 4 January. The appointment was smooth and the dentist was professional. He booked me in for a hygienist appointment the following Saturday. That visit was also handled well and I left satisfied with the clinical care. The problem started when I asked for a receipt that showed all treatments for my private medical claim. The receipt I was given listed only one treatment and showed the wrong amount. I called the clinic to request a corrected receipt. At first, the receptionist said she would sort it. When I asked when it would be ready, she said it could take days. I explained that I needed it the same day and offered to collect it. She said that was possible because she could print it. I then asked if she could email it instead. She said the printer was not working. I explained that she did not need the printer to email a receipt. She replied that she had other tasks and would do it when she could. She then ended the call. The receptionist was unprofessional and abrasive. She did not listen and did not provide basic customer service. The clinical team was strong, but the front desk experience was poor and needs attention.
I would like to clarify the £65 consultation fee. I came in because my filling had fallen out and clearly explained this to the dentist. The dentist checked it, confirmed the issue, and replaced the filling. The whole visit took around 10–15 minutes. As far as I understand, there was no separate consultation beyond identifying the problem and proceeding directly with the treatment. Could you please explain what exactly the consultation fee covers in this case?
Overall I found my experience great everytime I come. I am a nervous patient and find it very difficult to come to the dentist regularly but I am wanting to change this but I needed work done this time and I have been left bruised and in a lot of pain in my left cheek which they said is due to the injection to numb being put into my cheek muscle by mistake. I have had a check up since and they have been fine and I have been reassured. I do like coming to see the dentist at bank dental as they are lovely I just haven’t been very well since I have had this bad experience. I know things can happen by accident so it’s nothing I am blaming just with being a nervous patient anyway I am now even more. I do know they will look after me and that’s all I can ask for.
My teeth were deteriorating rapidly and I got to the stage where I was embarrassed to smile. I wasn't sure what could be done and was resigned to a denture at some point. However, after discussing the options I decided to go for composite bonding, a none invasive treatment to build up and improve the appearance of my top front teeth. As a nervous patient I was quite apprehensive about having a 2.5 hour appointment, but I can safely say that it was painless without even a twinge. Dr Fazil explained what he was doing at every stage and checked that I was comfortable and whether I needed a break. Both Fazil and Zoe, the dental nurse were very calm and professional. My teeth never looked as good and I spent all of Christmas and the New Year smiling. Excellent job!
