Sharing Smiles

4.5

Sharing Smiles in Luton offers a professional and friendly approach to dental care, particularly in the Invisalign category. Patients appreciate the calm and well-organized atmosphere, which ensures appointments are smooth and respectful of time. The clinic's team is noted for their welcoming and knowledgeable demeanor, making the experience comfortable and stress-free. The clinic's commitment to personalized treatment plans and supportive care is evident in the positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.

However, some patients have reported long wait times for braces and occasional issues with phone availability. While the staff is generally kind and the clinic is well-maintained, these areas could be improved to enhance the overall experience. I’ve had a really positive experience with this clinic. Dr. Wong is excellent—very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about getting the best results. The rest of the team are just as lovely, always welcoming, friendly, and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference. The atmosphere in the clinic is calm and well-organised, so appointments never feel rushed or stressful. They’ve also been very respectful of my time, which I really appreciate—everything tends to run smoothly and on schedule. Overall, it’s a great balance of professionalism and a genuinely friendly approach. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable dental clinic

I had braces when I was younger, but they didn’t really fix the problem. I was strongly against having my premolars taken out, and Dr Wong agreed to use a longer, more complex treatment plan to correct my teeth and bite. Because of that, I was able to keep all my teeth and still get a fuller, more natural-looking smile. She explained everything clearly, which really helped me feel more at ease about the whole process. It was also interesting to understand how everything works behind the scenes. The clinic was very supportive whenever issues came up, and I was able to get emergency appointments when needed, like when a wire started poking my cheek, even though they were quite busy. The person doing the adjustments was very gentle, so I felt very little pain during visits, even though some discomfort is unavoidable. After two years, I finally finished treatment, and I’m really happy with both the function of my bite and the appearance of my smile.

They take way too long to give people braces and instead of giving it too people who’s teeth are genuinely making them feel insecure and getting bullied they are giving it to those who’s teeth are perfectly fine or barely making them feel insecure I understand the process is long but I don’t understand why they take in people to give them braces then make them wait 2 or more years when they could’ve gone to a place less overcrowded and get braces a lot faster for example I know a person that goes to Bupa Dental Care Luton and she got her braces within a month including the whole process it is really frustrating and in my opinion they need to do something about this I would have rated them a 0 but that wasn’t possible

First appointment here today for my 12 year old daughter, and it was very good. Well staffed , all working well together as a tight knit team - the appointment was timely and organised. All staff super friendly and engaging. Follow up appointments booked in before leaving and not long to wait. Good work! See you in March.

They barely pick up the calls and sometimes they don’t even pick up the call and the pattern is when it’s 1 hour before closing time which shows their are lazy. They also seem to not value time. Please fix your phone system. However the staff are decently kind and place is good. I got kicked out because I came 10 minutes before and apparently there wasn’t any space even there was.

I had my braces removed about 6 months ago. At first I wasn’t very happy with how my teeth looked, but over time they’ve improved and now they look okay. However, I did notice later that there was some excess glue left on my teeth after my braces were removed, which I only realised months later. I wish this had been checked more carefully before I left, as I had to look into seeing my dentist about it. I also had mixed experiences with different orthodontists at the clinic. Some staff were very kind and supportive, especially one assistant who comforted me when I felt nervous. Unfortunately, one appointment was quite upsetting for me because the orthodontist seemed very impatient and raised her voice when I accidentally bit her fingers while she was tightening my braces. That made the experience stressful. Overall, I appreciate the staff members who were gentle and supportive, but I hope the clinic can focus on making sure patients feel comfortable and ensuring everything is fully checked before braces are removed.

I'm really disappointed with the service at this dental clinic. They seem to have a double standard when it comes to time. If you're late for your appointment, they slap you with a fine, which is understandable to a point. However, every single time I’ve had an appointment, I get called in 20-30 minutes late. So, I’m always left sitting around, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for them to be ready. What’s worse is that once you’re finally in, everything moves at a snail's pace. The staff seem unmotivated, and the whole atmosphere is just dead. It feels like they don't value my time at all, which is frustrating when they’re so strict about punctuality on the patient's end. Overall, the inconsistency and lack of respect for my time make it hard to recommend this clinic. I hope they can address these issues to improve the patient experience because, as it stands, it's just not worth the hassle.
