Torwood Dental Practice

I have been with this practice for decades and until recently found it to be fantastic on all fronts. Sadly this has now changed significantly , although there are still areas of excellence overall I can only describe it as very mediocre. I feel that there is a couldn’t care less attitude and I should be great full to be a client although I do pay for private care. It is purely to he efforts of a few staff that I rate it as 2 star!!!

I had a check up with a new member of the team - Alecia. She was very reassuring and her work was accurate, quick and careful. She made me feel confident and happy to book another appointment.

My dentist is nice and can usually always get an appointment. However the women in front desk who is American was so rude to another staff member it made me feel uncomfortable and sorry for the young person

Friendly receptionists , Aleshia was my dentist ,she was friendly and very thorough. I felt well looked after .

I cannot recommend Torwood Dental Practice highly enough. When entering for your appointment and also making a new appointment everyone is so kind and helpful make you feel so relaxed and the place is welcoming. Dominic is a great Dentist and gives advice and listens. Elma Hygienist is lovely very helpful and kind also. Thank you

Thank you to Deirdre, did my tooth without anestetics, which I asked for. Very gentle, fixed my filling. Also thank you for help with my wee child. I always feel welcomed by her, and fully trust her doing / checking my teeth.

Elma makes me always feel at ease. Her expertise and suggestions for oral care are second to none. After my visit, I always feel good knowing that my teeth were cared for well. Unfortunately, I can no longer book appointments with her for my annual visit since the practice had a change in policy. It'll safe me money, but I look at my visits as an investment in my health. So that's money well spent. Slight concern that my annual visits will no longer take place. Not sure if I like their new policy. Yes it safes me money, or does it? I'm sure the practice will ensure that they don't lose out on income. I wasn't too impressed that I am only allowed to book one annual appointment with my Dentist. With the hygienist appointments gone too, I am beginning to feel uneasy and not so well looked after anymore. I want to stress that by no means are the dentist or hygienist to blame. These are policies put in place by the management.
