Wonder of Wellness Clinic

I absolutely love this clinic. I drove a 5-hour round trip to come here back in December, and it was completely worth it. I first met with Seb, who carried out such a thorough consultation and really took the time to talk through all my options. I’m quite a nervous patient when it comes to the dentist, but he instantly put me at ease and reassured me throughout. I had my treatment yesterday with Abdul, and honestly, it was completely painless. The whole team looked after me so well. The lovely lady assisting Abdul was amazing she kept checking in and even placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder, which meant alot. Seb also popped in a few times during the procedure to check on me, which I really appreciated. Abdul talked me through everything he was doing, step by step, which made me feel calm. Laura was also fantastic she called me before my appointment to check in and said she’d follow up afterwards too. I just felt genuinely looked after from start to finish. I love they take a more holistic approach and really like the added extras you can get to assist with your healing. Thank you so much to the whole team 🤍

Fantastic experience with lovely staff and dentists. I had two amalgam fillings removed and replaced with composite, at long last and was really nervous about having the netting put behind my teeth. Such an expert and fiddly job was done and I honestly couldn’t tell it was there. I was very relaxed, even though my heart was pounding, but I think I actually fell asleep for a bit. An hour and a half of very professional dentistry and the lower part of my mouth looks fantastic. I can’t wait to have the rest done. Thank you for a wonderful job.

As always, my appointment with the Wonder of Wellness team went very well. First with the Hygienist, who was very caring and attentive to my special needs. Then with Dr Seb, who involved other members of his staff in addressing a particular need which required thinking 'outside the box', going the extra mile to try and solve the problem. Both the premises and all the staff are very accomodating to a person who has muliple intolerances and is in a wheelchair. Thank you Wonder of Wellness

I have hypothyroidism and went to see Seb to discuss amalgam filling removal. After consultation I have undergone the adult airway course, a tongue tie release and then the amalgam removal. I have undergone no separate treatment or lifestyle modifications during this time. I began with the year long adult airway course, and quickly found I stopped coughing while trying to get to sleep and my neck stopped feeling so cold I needed to wear a scarf at night, which I have had to do for years. My aching joints went away at this point too. By the end of the course my sleep was much improved. I still observe good sleep hygiene and wear the mouth and nose pieces but no longer consider sleep an issue. Towards the end of the course I had the tongue tie release, then several amalgams removed over the next four months. After the first amalgams were removed a persistent frozen shoulder issue has disappeared and mobility much improved, and I noticed I don't need to get up to use the toilet in the night, which was a real problem that caused a lot of anxiety around sleep. In the two months since the last amalgams were removed, and the tongue tie has settled I have no need to stretch and activate my muscles in the morning just to get going. The clinic is a lovely environment, the team friendly and Dr Seb apparently indefatigable! Highly recommended.

I had a tooth extraction yesterday at Wonder of Wellness in Huddersfield, and I feel genuinely moved to share what an exceptional experience it was. Jay, the dentist, has such a calm and gentle presence. His voice, his manner, and the way he communicated throughout the entire process immediately put me at ease. He explained everything clearly—what he was doing, what I might feel, and what to expect afterwards—which made such a difference to my overall comfort. His assistant, Faz, was equally wonderful. Warm, grounded, and clearly very experienced, she had a natural ability to make me feel safe and relaxed. Wonder of Wellness truly lives up to its name—a place where modern science meets genuine care and compassion. We travel four hours with a young child to visit this clinic, often turning it into an overnight stay in the Peak District. Every time we go, we say, "We really should find a dentist closer to home," and every time we leave thinking, "We would never go anywhere else." After poor experiences elsewhere, I came here as a last attempt to put things right—and it has made all the difference. It means so much to have complete trust in a dentist. What really stands out is how forward-thinking they are, using techniques and approaches that feel ahead of the curve and truly focused on healing and overall wellbeing. The small touches also make a difference, from games in reception for children to filtered drinking water—it all adds to an experience that somehow leaves you feeling revitalised. My husband had a mercury filling safely removed, and I had a filling without anaesthetic. The dentist was incredibly gentle and reassuring throughout. It’s genuinely something special! Thank you!
