Goyt Valley Dental Practice

Well, friendly greeting from reception as soon as I walked in, as always, lovely and clean and only a short wait. I am a nervous patient even though it was only an xray today. My great dentist Siobhan and lovely nurse Debby put me at ease straight away. Always a friendly greeting here and asks about family etc. Only a short appt this time. All the staff here are friendly and cheerful, even the rooms feel cheerful, thats a lot coming from someone so worried about the dentist. They have several ways to help to pay for treatment and I use the plan. Its a great surgery with pleasant hardworking staff and I would highly recommend it.

I have experienced the very of best care and attention. When there are options of treatment they are always explained thoroughly and to suit my dividual needs. I am made to feel my whole wellbeing is as important as my dental care.

Used to be an NHS patient here till it went private; I couldn't afford a payment plan. A crown recently chipped, at the back. It needed attention so I went back after 4 years. I was prepared for a full tooth replacement but, to my utter suprise and delight the dentist fixed it there and then! She was incredibly calm, patient, professional and spoke quietly even when communicating with her team. I felt completely relaxed. She saved me a lot of money too. I highly recommend this practice.

I have recently been suffering with periodontal disease. Sally has done a great job of cleaning and dispensing advice about managing this condition to which I have followed and seen great results. I also see Siobhan, she has renewed a couple of fillings that were ready for replacement and they fitted beautifully, nice solid work. I always get a great standard of care from the staff they are always warm and friendly.

I’m very unhappy with the treatment I’ve received at Goyt Valley Dental practice. After an emergency appointment in August for severe pain, I was told I’d be referred for an extraction. Long story short, via a lack of communication by the practice, the referral never happened and I was given another NHS referral which didn’t come through for 3 months and was then refused. In the intervening time there was no follow up and when I went in today for a routine check after another bout of severe pain I felt unheard and dealt with via a defensive shrug "out of our hands". I have now left the practice and found another much more professional practice. Would not recommend Goyt Valley unless they improve dramatically.

Friendly, welcoming practice who always seem to be able to fit in what I need quickly and flexibly. I've stuck with it 'post-NHS' despite it not being easy to afford now because I've come to trust them and because of positive and helpful attitude. Thank you.

This practice is so great. The whole team are so friendly, kind and caring and are true specialists in their roles. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
