I’ve been a patient at The Maltings since I was a toddler (nearly 30 years!), and have always received excellent care. I’ve been very lucky to only ever need routine check-ups, and the service has consistently been great. Today, however, I felt compelled to leave a review after bringing my 2-year-old son along to an appointment with me. We were both seen by Georgia Edge, and I was genuinely so impressed with how she handled his appointment. Although he’s been before, this was the first time he really understood what was happening, so he was a little apprehensive at first. Georgia was absolutely wonderful—she involved him by letting him help check "mummy’s teeth" and quickly built such a lovely rapport with him. By the time it was his turn, he clearly felt at ease and happily cooperated with his check-up without any fuss at all. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring when I had a concern, which I really appreciated. Georgia was kind, patient, and enthusiastic throughout, and it made such a difference. I left feeling so grateful for such a positive experience for my son—thank you!

For someone that hasn’t been to the dentist in a long long time and terrified of dentists I have nothing but exceptional praise for all the team but especially Laura. From the first initial visit I felt relaxed (ish) and then today I’ve had a tooth extraction and replaced, it was seamless from start to finish. Laura explains constantly what happening, the team chat "a lot" 😃 but that makes everything more relaxed. Seems extreme but this has changed my life, can’t thankyou Laura and the team enough! Mike

I had Invisalign treatment, composite bonding and teeth whitening done by Sean and his dental nurse Hannah, and I honestly could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish they were absolutely fantastic and their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. The results are incredible and I am so satisfied with the work they did. My smile looks better than I ever expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering dental treatment. Thank you both for such amazing work!

I have always been anxious about visiting dentists as I suffered very poor treatment as a young child. I was referred to this dental practice by my own Dentist in Newark. I needed to have a Wisdom Tooth removed. From the moment I walked into the practice the young ladies behind the desk made me feel welcome and at ease. I was taken by a lovely young Dental Nurse for an Xray, she who was comforting, supportive and talking to me the whole time. I was then taken to see the Oral Surgeon Mrs Marta Bugowska – Clarke and her dental team. They were all very friendly, professional, kind and caring. I could not have had better treatment, being talked to all the way explaining what was to happen next. I would like to give all the staff a gold medal for their reassuring and friendly manner. Unfortunately I am a nervy patient and some other medical treatment has meant I need more frequent appointments to the dentist. Laura has been fantastic in explaining, taking her time being patient and calm with me. I count myself lucky to be able to have her consistently when I visit which also eases my anxiety. She is a great asset to the Maltings.

Fabulous, we have been in the extremely capable hands of Laura Hunter-Shaw and capable is an understatement, Laura and her assistant's are very calm, professional and friendly, chatty. My husband is very apprehensive when visiting the dentist, required sedation a couple of appointments due to extremely unpleasant experience years ago at a different dental practice, but he was treated with respect, professionalism and such care, he received full set of dentures upper and lower, and hasn't stopped smiling 😁. On the other hand I have never gone into an appointment feel apprehensive or nervous, had a number of teeth removed and a set of upper dentures made 😁😁 never a fan of the dentist ( who is?? I just begrudge paying someone to give me pain!!! 🤨😄😁) but saying that think down to the care Laura gives and exudes I would discomfort rather than pain. Would we recommend the Maltings Dental Practice...... Most definitely it is clean, professional, friendly top marks from myself and my husband thanks to Laura and her colleagues we are smiling constantly 😁😄😁😄
