Barrie David Dental Surgery

I been going to Barrie David for the past 40yrs, I am a very nervous patient and always treated kindly and patiently. Amazing dentist and wonderful staff 😍. Highly recommend. Thank you all for always looking after me. 😊⭐️

Ayesha cleaned my teeth today and was exceptionally knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! All of the staff are friendly. I have been coming here for 25 years and Barrie is absolutely fantastic.

I’ve been to this dentist around 6-7 times now. I can’t recommend them enough. I had my tooth pulled out with Barry today and I literally didn’t feel a thing! It took him less that 30 seconds. Always checking I was ok and he knew I had a weak gag reflex and didn’t mind at all, first dentist I’ve come across that didn’t make me feel guilty about it. Best dentist I’ve ever been to. Barry and the other dentists are great, really make you feel amongst friends and at ease.

Mr David, head of practice, is fantastic. His patient care, calm nature, kindness and reassurance made me feel comfortable and at ease. Add to that, the treatment I received and Mr David"s knowledge and expertise and I knew with absolute certainty I was in safe hands. A trip to the dentist is never pleasant, but Mr David made it as easy and as good as he possibly could. An excellent dentist. Thank you.

Waited months for a check up and was told I need a filling, booked in and left work early to get back In time for my appointment. On arrival I filled in the paperwork then sat down for half an hour, I was then called to the desk and told that the suction was not working and I could not have my treatment. I was then told by Barry David these things happen and there was nothing he could do. This used to be a good dentist but all the good doctors left, stay away from this place.

I've been going to Barrie David for years and have always been happy with their services. I'm also a cancer patient, with a weak immune system, and am prone to gum infections. Whenever I've rung Dr. Barrie, they've gone out of their way to accommodate me. They're gentle, kind, and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Barrie and Owain, too. They're the best!

Always positive experiences with previous dentists here but today (dentist Jenna) was shocking! She spent no time communicating with me as a patient, just asking "do you have any problems with your teeth"? There was no discussion about any changes in medication or checking each tooth as every dentist had always done!!! She was more interested in talking over my head to the assistant about engagement rings and wishing she could speak Welsh (not the assistant, she was simply answering her)...... She told me everything was fine and when i asked her to check a previous filling, she then answered "oh yeh its chipped do you want me to sort it"? When making my next check up it'll definitely not be with her!!!
