Chequers Dental Clinic Basingstoke

Anyone who is a nervous patient like me needs to go here. My dentist is Satya and she is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. She cares about you as a person and does her best to make you feel comfortable. She listens to your concerns and reassures you. I've seen her for the last year but when I was so scared of having a filling put back in she went above and beyond to make sure I had no pain and was ok through out. The practice has gone private now but she is by far worth it. She is also very good with my son who isn't scared due to her being so nice. The receptionists are always so friendly and helpful. A really nice practice. It's clear the owner picks his staff well and runs a very professional friendly practice.

Sian is without doubt the best dentist I have ever used. She is very gentle, calm and talks me through everything she is doing and it really helps to put me at ease. I previously hated going to the dentist, but now I happily go for my regular check ups and have no worries at all if I need any kind of procedure doing. I have gladly recommended Chequers to my friends and family.

I attended the surgery with my 16 year old very nervous child recently for an extraction in preparation for braces. To say he was nervous is an understatement, I didn’t think he’d get through the door without sedation at one time. However, the dentist, Satya, was absolutely amazing. She reassured him ever step of the way, speaking to him constantly to put him at ease and so he felt in control. Afterwards he described her as the nicest person he’d ever met and said although he was scared she made it OK. Well done Satya and to Chequers Road for having such lovely, kind and sensitive staff. My sons fear of dental treatment has been allayed which will make life so much less stressful. Thank you.

Went to the dentist today. Wasn't nervous in the slightest!! Anyone that knows me, knows this a big deal! I used to be so afraid, not sleep for days before, be sick, cry and at times just walk out! This is all thanks to Sian at Chequers Dental Surgery . She is calm, patient and lovely. Anyone with a phobia, she's your lady!!!

Really Disappointed. Website CLEARLY shows accepting new NHS patients...guess what, no they are not! Told to try back in May. I have mental health issues and agoraphobia and wanted a good dentist near to my home. Thanks for being so unhelpful 🙁

There were some annoying hiccups which gave me a bit of grief during their renovation, but they seemed to have resolved this with their new waiting room. The dentists themselves are excellent.

Terrible experience with this surgery, poor dentistry which you must pay to have rectified over and over again. Left with lasting financial issues and physical insecurities due to lack of knowledge/care from dentists.
