Embrace-U Specialist Orthodontist

My daughter had good teeth before going to this Orthodontist but after 18 months of braces she now has retainers. I can't thank the Orthodontist & the Team enough. She now has a beautiful white straight set of teeth & is so happy with all of her treatment. Would definitely recommend Embrace U Miller Rd to anyone ,they are fantastic 😀

If I could give zero i would absolutely terrible at all costs try to avoid same with the one in Irvine.

Try to charge you £10 for missed appointment when you never made an appointment. Dentist has informed me that they try this money making scheme all the time with their clients.

All l will say is l have transferred my children's care elsewhere ....... terrible experience with this practice for two of my children not just one so can't be a coincidence

Still reeling about my experience many years later! My autistic son who obviously has processing issues travelled over 110 miles round trip to this practice for many years but when it came to fitting braces the importance of looking after his teeth while wearing braces, and the danger of not, was explained to him which resulted in him being concerned he might not manage to look after them properly. It was suggested by the orthodontist we get back in touch after 6 months once he was sure. When we returned we were advised he no longer met the NHS criteria despite meeting the criteria previously. It took 7 years to reassure my son about the benefits of having braces and those 7 years of persuasion were destroyed in less than 7 minutes. I asked why there had been a change of mind and was told that the orthodontist could no longer see what he saw before, twice I repeated the question and received exactly the same answer. I then contacted the practice on numerous occasions for clarity on what had been seen before that was no longer apparent and I am still waiting for a reply. We were referred to this practice by our previous dentist in Kirkcudbright who has now retired - I just hope the new dentist who has taken over our local dental practice is no longer recommending this place. Not only is it not inclusive but it is not professional when it does not even reply to reasonable queries. To top it off after the appointment with the orthodontist we went upstairs as usual for photographs where my son, when visibly upset, it was felt had attitude and was refusing to bite together for the photos - he cannot bite together which was why he needed the work carried out in the first place. There are more important things in life than money and one of them is common decency and another courtesy.
