I’m a 30 year old male, and probably didn’t go to the dentist for 6-7 years after a bad experience and developing a severe fear of the dentist after what was already a mild disliking through childhood. I then had tooth pain which forced me in, since then I have seen Dr James Eaton, he checked over my teeth with no judgement which weren’t in the best state. Lots of work needs doing and he set me up a treatment plan which is now being worked through with himself. The biggest compliment I can give is that I’m now as close to having 0 fear at the dentist as you can get!! I highly recommend coming if you have any sort of fear, he will put you at ease, and during and after the treatments I’ve never had any issue!

We had a really positive experience with James Eaton recently. My 12-year-old needed four teeth extracted, ready for braces. James was incredibly kind, gentle, and reassuring throughout. He explained everything clearly and made sure my daughter felt comfortable at every step. His nurses, Michelle & Arati were also amazing. What i thought would be stressful visits, turned out to be calm and positive. I’m really grateful for the care we received and would highly recommend James, especially for children.

Exceptional care & kindness. James, dentist , Mia hygienist are considerate & treat me with care & compassion. The receptionists are kind & supportive. This week my Hearing Dog came to the surgery with me, sat on my lap with no drama & I was able to have a complete clean & polish. The staff were wonderful, no fuss, just kindness.

I've had very positive experiences with Ock Street Clinic. The receptionists have been really helpful for me, I've seen multiple hygienists and they've been great, and my main dentist is very warm and welcoming. In particularly, Dr James Eaton has been fantastic with myself, my daughter and my husband. James is great with children - he has been really good with making my daughter (2) feel like anxious. Would recommend this dental practice!

My daughter recently had two teeth extracted in preparation for orthodontic treatment, and she was incredibly nervous about the procedure. We made the surgery aware of this beforehand, and it was clear from the moment we arrived that Dr. James Eaton had been fully briefed and had prepared with great care. Dr. Eaton showed exceptional empathy and professionalism throughout. He took the time to explain the procedure to my daughter in a way that perfectly matched what she needed, enough detail to help her understand what was happening, but not so much that it would overwhelm her. She is naturally quite curious, and he handled her questions with patience and clarity, which really helped her process what was about to happen. What really stood out was the genuine care he showed. He made sure she felt safe, listened to, and fully supported. His calm and reassuring approach significantly reduced her anxiety, and by the time the procedure took place, she felt confident and much more relaxed. The entire experience was handled with such compassion and thoughtfulness, and I’m extremely grateful for the care Dr. Eaton provided. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially parents of anxious children needing dental procedures. Thank you.

I didn’t want my teeth to look too bright or fake, I just wanted them to look less yellow and stained. They are perfect. A non invasive procedure, very quick, and painless. I now have lovely, white teeth, with no marks or discolouration, that look natural and healthy. Thank you Dr Rider. A perfect job. I’m so happy with them.
